Downtown Chamber Bingo is in full swing for Paulding County. The idea to create a Bingo game came about after brainstorming ways to get people to come out and explore what their communities had to offer regarding local businesses and organizations. By looking for the Bingo items the participants take time to explore the buildings, businesses, and environment around them. This will be the 3rd year for Downtown Paulding to have a Chamber Bingo.
The positive feedback that the Paulding Area Chamber of Commerce received raised the question of whether to expand the Bingo activities to other communities. As this year’s Bingo kicked off there were multiple inquiries from community members in surrounding towns asking if the Chamber could create a Bingo for them. So, we did!
This year we are very excited to have Bingo for Antwerp, Oakwood, Paulding, and Payne. Each community has some unique items that will be fun to find. More details about how to play can be found here. Happy exploring!

The Paulding Area Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening for The Salt Cave located inside Keepsake Beads by EAW and Boutique at 101 W. Perry Street, Paulding, OH. Owners, Elecia and Brandon Wobler, have very positive things to say about the benefits of The Salt Cave, and they are proud to bring this experience to Paulding County.
Info About Salt Therapy: The Salt has upwards of 84 minerals that can be absorbed through the skin, so you're nourishing your body as you relax and breathe deeply. Though it might sound counterintuitive (you'd think sitting in a salty room would dry out your skin), mineral salts do the opposite, helping to attract moisture to skin. Combine that with Himalayan salt's natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits, and you can potentially help clear up issues like eczema and psoriasis. Salt-cave experts say that spending just 45 minutes inside a salt cave is roughly the equivalent of spending two whole days at the beach. If the thought of that doesn't already boost your mood, consider this: the negative ions in the air may help boost your mood and give you more energy. Some visitors find it helps them with issues such as insomnia, stress, and seasonal affective disorder.

Community members, churches, businesses, and organizations are all invited to sign up for a two-week time slot where they help keep the park beautiful for everyone that uses it. Tasks include picking up trash, pulling weeds, sweeping mulch off the pavement, and generally making sure the park looks welcoming.
